Our weekend was quite adventurous. We did a lot of interesting things! On Friday I went out with my coworkers to lunch at
Stand4. I got a cheeseburger with cheddar and their famous toasted marshmallow milkshake. That's right friends, toasted marshmallow shake. The burger was decent, but it was the milkshake that would make me come back. They had lots of interesting shakes including "stiff shakes" that include things like Kahlua and Bourbon. I finally finished my workday at 7pm and jumped on the R train to meet up with
Kendra and Allie in Midtown. We went to
Patron Mexican Grill for drinks and appetizers to celebrate our first week of work. The margaritas were $5 and the food was okay. Definitely not the best mexican I have had. But it was great to unwind after a our first week. After that we went over to Rockefeller Plaza to see the Christmas tree before they took it down. It was a great night to go see it because it was so warm out!
Seeing the tree was really touristy, but it was fun and I'm glad that we did! It's so big! And all of the lights surrounding really are beautiful and worth the trip up there. We decided that we wanted to try out
2A, a bar in the East Village, for drinks. Drinks quickly turned into
drink because of the price! Seriously, $12 for a cocktail?! You can watch movies because they screen them on the building across the street. We had fun hanging out and decided to grab a slice of NY pizza on the way home because well, why not. Tyler recommended
Two Boots Pizza so that's where we went! It was great. Good choice, Tyler! Then we came home and went to bed.

I hope you drink was really really good! The tree is beautiful and I am glad you got to see it with lights. When I went in Jan. we missed it by 2 days.
